No, Backes. If I had said that one was right of the limo and the other two were left of the limo, it would have been confusing because something could be right or left within the picture.

 Here, Lovelady is on the right of Oswald: in the picture. But, he is on the left of Oswald: in the doorway. But, if we say he was east of Oswald, that is true regardless of whose perspective is meant. 



And the same is true below. Describing the one motorcycle cop as right and the other two as left does not appeal to me. It invites confusion, if only momentary. 


One could face the limo, and say, "There's the limo, and as I face the limo, anything that is on my right side is right of the limo, and anything that is on my left side is left of the limo." I don't like to speak of right and left concerning the depth of the photo.

But, there is nothing wrong with saying that Cheyney was on the north side of the limo and the other two were on the south side. Even if you don't like that designation and wouldn't use it yourself, why would you make a stink about something that is technically correct? It's because you are first, last, and always a stupid asshole.
