Oswald in the doorway: the blog of the Oswald Innocence Campaign, by Ralph Cinque

Robin Unger has been splashing this image of the doorway all over the net in various JFK forums to represent the clearest, best, sharpest Altgens doorway that we have. It's an enhanced version from the HSCA. I agree with him that it's in good shape and more trustworthy than Groden.

And on the left is really the only image of Lovelady from 11/22/63 that anyone uses. The only alternative to  it would be one of the Loveladys from the Dallas PD footage, the so-called "walk-by", but the fact is that nobody really uses those images to represent Lovelady. They use this image on the left:

This was supposed to be some minutes after the shooting when the police checkpoint was set up. Of course, Lovelady actually left BEFORE the police checkpoint was set up. He left before the very first policeman got there: Marrion Baker. And he never returned to the front as he went around to the back. So, there is actually no way this guy could have been Lovelady, and he doesn't even look like Lovelady.

However, the fact remains that this is the image that is compared to Doorman, and it is really the only image from 11/22 that is compared to Doorman. We call him Gorilla Lovelady- for obvious reasons.

Notice how much stockier and heavier Gorilla Lovelady looks than Doorman.

Notice that Gorilla Lovelady's shirr is NOT sprawled open like Doorman's. Some have tried to blame it on his position, but that is ridiculous because we can see all of the left side of his shirt and some of the right side. Doorman's shirt is sprawled open on BOTH sides. So, it would definitely show from the angle that we are seeing Gorilla Lovelady.

Notice the absence of an exposed t-shirt on Gorilla Lovelady, and the great exposure of Doorman's t-shirt, with the vee in the t-shirt also disqualifying Lovelady.

Notice the complete absence of a plaid pattern on Doorman's shirt. There isn't a single box, while Gorilla Lovelady's shirt is full of boxes- vertical and horizontal crossing lines.

Look at how Doorman's shirt is bunching up from being too large. Lovelady's shirt fits tight and sleek in comparison.

Notice how different the collars are, where you can see the distinct furl below the collar on Doorman and the complete absence of it on Gorilla Lovelady.

It's evident that Doorman has a relatively long neck, while Gorilla Lovelady has a short, compressed, forward neck.

Notice how different the faces are. They don't look remotely like each other. Gorilla Lovelady has a hard, Neanderthal face while Doorman looks somewhat gaunt but otherwise has softer features.

There is simply no basis to think that those two are the same person. And if we were talking about this in any other context but the JFK assassination, no one on Earth would suggest such a thing.
