Tonight is Battle of the Bands night. But, before we begin, I want to point out an interesting commonality between bpete and Duncan MacRae. First, take a look at bpete's profile:

Realize that he changes a lot of the stuff periodically, such as the industry, his occupation, and most of all his location. But one thing he NEVER changes is his favorite music. He likes it LOUD!

I know that there are loud symphonies, but I don't think that's what he is talking about. Anyone who designates his choice in music as LOUD! has got to be talking about something like this:

That is loud alright. You get the feeling that loudness was the whole idea they were striving for. And, I have a feeling that is exactly what bpete had in mind when he said LOUD!

So, just look at all we know about what bpete and Duncan MacRae have in common: both are keenly interested in the JFK assassination and with the same perspective on it; both like loud, raucous music; both keep their clocks set to London time; and both have close friendships with Mike Williams, whom they are linked to online.  That's quite a bit if you ask me, but I bet there's more, and we'll keep looking.

But, as I told you, this is Battle of the Bands night, so here is my contribution to the evening's entertainment. I like a wide range of music, including classic rock and roll, but my favorite genre are the old jazz standards. This song was done to honor Linda's beautiful granddaughter, Marcelline. It occurred to me that the syllables were right to plug it into the old Johnny Mercer hit - Tangerine - from 1941. So, here it is, just for fun. And please remember that this was recorded with a $50 dictation device that was not designed or intended for music. So, cut me some slack, OK?
