Dr. Gerald McKnight just called me to say that he wants to reverse himself and join the Oswald Innocence Campaign. He was responding to a package I sent him which included a lot of materials from me and others. In response to his kind concession, I asked him, as a favor, to send me a letter to that effect so that I would have it in writing, and he said he would.
I am imploring Joseph Backes NOT to call him. He is an 81 year old man who has suffered with cancer and has had to undergo grueling treatment from which he is still recovering. You have already called him. He's heard from both of us, and his decision is to weigh in with the OIC.
Why should it surprise you? He is an advocate of Oswald in the doorway, as are we.
So, show some decency and leave this elderly man alone. It's harassment if you call him. Learn to lose.
I am putting Dr. McKnight back in as an OIC senior member, however, I am going to keep the feature of him on top, which he has seen and approved of. He likes the picture and asked me where I got it. I told him I did a careful screen-save from the debate he did last December. I wanted to catch him with his finger in the air.
This development is merely the logical outcome of the facts of the situation. It was inevitable, Backes. So, leave it be, and leave him be.
