This post is going up all over the Web:
There was a brilliant observation in a letter I received from Dr. Gerald McKnight today. He pointed out the FBI visited Lovelady on the evening of November 23 and brought with them a blow-up of the Altgens doorway that was 30" by 40". Dr. McKnight asks:
"Why did they not do the same with Oswald? He was still alive that night. If they were honest brokers just trying to get to the bottom of things, why not show the Altgens photo to both of them?"
Oswald worked at the TSBD too. Why not get his opinion about who Doorman was?
But, we know why, don't we. It's because they were afraid that Oswald would say it was him, and they didn't want to hear it. They weren't going to accept that answer under any circumstances, even if it was true. THEY AVOIDED SHOWING IT TO OSWALD, and that, in itself, was proof of deceit and subterfuge.
Think about it: You've got this guy in a photograph, and you need to figure out who he is. You know he has to be one of two men. So, you show it to just one of them?????
It is bull crap, but it is what our FBI did. They deliberately avoided confronting Oswald with the Altgens photo when they had every opportunity to do so. They could have approached Oswald exactly as they did Lovelady, but they didn't do it. It proves that they didn't want to honestly investigate it. Their not doing so is proof-positive that they were totally and utterly dishonest. And anyone who tries to defend them is going to have to answer to Dr. McKnight.
