The inability to think is a sorry plight, and I am truly embarrassed for bpete. Because I said that Backes can't use this photo ...
supposedly of Lovelady in the Squad room, because the authenticity of the photo is in question, bpete thinks he can make the same claim about the Altgens photo.
But, no one doubts that Altgens captured the doorway during the shooting and that the man we see was really there. What is in question is who the man was, but not that he was there. No one doubts that he was there. I don't doubt it. The other side doesn't doubt it. And bpete certainly doesn't doubt it. bpete doesn't doubt anything about the Altgens photo. He thinks it is 100% untouched, unaltered, unblemished, and undefiled. So, it makes no sense for him to claim that I can't use it.
I think the Altgens photo is real. I think the Man in the Doorway was a real man. And I am simply arguing about his identity- who he was.
But, there was no man sitting at that desk in the Squad room. There was nobody there. In reality, it looked like this:
And there are multiple evidences that I am right about that, including: Lovelady's statement that he never saw Oswald again after they broke for lunch; the many conflicts between the different versions of the scene including clearly different Loveladys; the plethora of weirdly "edited" versions where no two are the same and where some edited out Oswald in favor of Lovelady; the mechanical impossibility of the cops to even even get by Lovelady, particularly the big cop and Oswald who were walking two astride; and the way the Lovelady figure is uniformly ignored by everyone.
So obviously, in the midst of that debate, Backes can't use the disputed picture as evidence that it's real, that Lovelady was there.
But, it doesn't mean that therefore every image is disqualified from consideration. That is just plain stupid.
I have been saying for a long time that bpete has got the mind of a child. He's just a former rock and roller who never grew up. He now works as a disinformation agent, and it may be something that he segued into from the military. I don't know if he works directly for an intelligence agency- whether US, British, or Israeli- or if he is paid by a front company. But, I do know that he is a paid agent.
And OH, bpete: both Shelley and Lovelady said that they saw Marrion Baker climbing the steps from a distance, so they had already left the front within seconds after the last shot, as it's estimated that Baker reached the steps about 12 seconds after the last shot. And they never returned to the front steps, having re-entered through the back door and gotten involved doing stuff inside, and therefore, there is absolutely no chance that Shelley was out front at 12:35 when Oswald departed for home. So, Oswald definitely did NOT see Shelley out front AFTER the assassination. He must have meant DURING the assassination.
But, welcome back. And try to keep up, would you? I don't like it when things slow down.
