Bill Miller determined that the distance from the ground to the top of the windshield was 58 inches.

So, how much lower were his hands than the top of the windshield? I would say at least 18 inches, which would mean that his hands were 40 inches above the ground. Holy Cow! That is exactly the height above the ground of the handgrips on my bicycle. 40 inches.
