No, Backes. There was nothing wrong with the way I put it. I could have said "Here I am" but that would have put the emphasis on myself, as if I were the subject. I wasn't. The subject was the holding of the rifle. And that's why I put it the way I did: because it emphasizes that it was the holding that was important. It was the holding that it was about. 

But either would have been grammatically correct, and it was entirely a matter of choice- a writer's choice- something that no one would accuse you of being.  

You're stupid, Backes. And it's a hopeless condition.
