Years later, when political operative Roger Stone conferred with Nixon’s ambassador to Argentina, John Davis Lodge, Henry Lodges sibling, he asked him, “Did you ever ask your brother who really killed Kennedy?” According to Stone, John D. Lodge, with “His lips spread in a tight grin [responded]. ‘Cabot said it was the Agency boys, some Mafiosi… And Lyndon.’” Then Stone asked, “Did your brother know in advance?” John Lodge said well, “He knew Kennedy wouldn’t be around to fire him.”

  • Ralph Cinque Wow. That is amazing. By Agency boys, I presume he means the Central Intelligence Agency. But, I am increasingly convinced that the whole Establishment wanted Kennedy dead, and it's probably true that even some of Kennedy's own Cabinet were involved, for instance, his National Security Advisor, McGeorge Bundy. I know Vincent Salandria thinks so. And this suggests that Henry Cabot Lodge knew it was coming.
