Today, the one-day Hollywood Silver Screen Festival is being held at the historic Warner Grand Theater in downtown Los Angeles, and it is going on right now as I type this. The festival includes just 3 hours of screening, and the rest is devoted to workshops and classes on filmmaking. So, not all their Official Selections are being screened today, and I presume that most aren't. However, My Stretch of Texas Ground is one of their Official Selections, and they sent me this laurel. So, I am pleased because I was hoping for some recognition at a "Hollywood" festival, and now it's happened. So, thank you Hollywood Silver Screen Festival.
