Oswald had already been arraigned, and the arraignment judge did not issue any gag order. Next would have been the preliminary hearing of the trial, but no judge was assigned to it yet. It means that Oswald's attorney could have gone public with anything Oswald told him.

You know that the Media was already trying Oswald in the press and laying out what seemed to be an iron-clad case against him. BUT, IT ONLY SEEMED IRON-CLAD BECAUSE THEY LET NO ONE CONTEST IT. Even a mediocre defense lawyer would have destroyed it.

And if it ever went to trial, not only would the Defense have destroyed the case against Oswald, they would have incited the FBI! After all, the FBI came up with bogus evidence, such as the order form for the rifle. There was nothing innocent about that. It could not have been a mistake. It's not as though there was a real "A.Hidell" who ordered the rifle.  The whole thing was a fabrication- the FBI's fabrication. The trial of Oswald would have exposed the criminality of the FBI. That's for absolute certain. Most likely, it would have exposed the criminality of the Dallas Police as well.

Are you starting to see now why they could not let Oswald live to stand trial? They couldn't even let him see a lawyer. They would have had to kill the lawyer.

Think about it: Ruby, who did not ask for a lawyer, they provided one. Oswald, who clamored for one, they denied one.

And the clock was ticking. They couldn't go on denying Oswald a lawyer for much longer. And just one visit with a lawyer was all it would have taken to completely sink the State's case and throw it into turmoil. Do you understand that it was unthinkable to let Oswald have an attorney?

And what his brother? Dear Brother Robert. Oh, what a devoted brother he wasn't. Don't you think a real brother would have gotten a lawyer for Oswald? Don't you think a real brother would have told him, "Don't you cooperate with these people. Tell them that you want a lawyer, and you are not saying a fucking word until you talk to one. 'I am not cooperating until I have Counsel.' You tell them that, and you stick to it. Now, I'm leaving, and I am coming back with a fucking lawyer.  You keep your trap shut until I'm back with him. You hear me, Little Brother?"

Now, that's what a real brother would have said, but Robert Oswld was not his real brother. He was the brother of the other Oswald, just as John Armstrong has been saying.

So, Oswald had them over a barrel. He did tremendous damage to them at the Midnight Press Conference. I don't know even know why they held it, unless they were planning to kill him there in front of the world and then called it off. There was no justification for the MPP, legally or otherwise. Did they do it for Timothy McVeigh? Of course not. Has it ever been done for anyone except Oswald? No, it has not. They must have had another reason for putting him in front of world microphones, and the only one I can think of was to kill him.

So, they were really in trouble, and time was running out. I bet J. Edgar Hoover was sweating like a pig. And then what happened? They just got lucky that Jack Ruby came along and saved them from a fate worse than death? No, he didn't just come along. He was groomed for it, but not the way most people think. They think they conspired with Ruby, either directly or indirectly through the  Mafia.  But, both ideas are very stupid. Jack Ruby couldn't be trusted. He was a floosy. He was a basket case. He was a stumbling, bumbling, scatterbrained idiot. You couldn't trust him with anything, never mind shooting somebody in a crowd of cops. They didn't need Ruby to shoot Oswald. They just needed him to take the blame for it. IT WAS EXACTLY THE SAME AS SIRHAN SIRHAN. THEY DIDN'T NEED HIM TO SHOOT RFK. THEY JUST NEEDED HIM TO TAKE THE BLAME FOR IT.

They could do the killing themselves, and they did in both cases.
