Rick Watson is the latest addition to the cast of His Stretch of Texas Ground. Rick played the tough-as-nails FBI Section Chief who kept the pressure on Agent Frank Calderone in the hunt for Abdul Latif Hassan in the first movie.
But, in this movie, Rick will be playing a very different character, Wayne Beatty, a longtime friend of Sheriff Joe's, whom the Sheriff goes to for a very unusual favor late in the story.
Rick is a consummate actor. He submitted an audition video to me, which I forwarded to our director Geoff Ryan, and our producer, Robert DeSanti, and their instant response was, "We want this guy. How do we reach him?"
Rick is a terrific guy. Nobody could be more pleasant to work with than him. And I consider him a friend for all the support and encouragement he has given me. So welcome aboard, Rick. It's great to have you.
