No, Backes. You are wrong again. Mike Shapiro reported that the Altgens photo was wired to AP headquarters in New York at 1:03, and later it was sent to other AP offices across the country, and that somebody in the Pittsburgh office saw Oswald in the doorway.
But, that isn't even the strongest evidence that newspapers did NOT get the Altgens photo at 1:03. The strongest evidence is that of the 1400+ newspapers in the United States in 1963, the vast majority were either evening papers or had evening editions, and if the Altgens photo had reached them by then, then surely most or all of them would have published the Altgens photo on 11/22/63. As it is, only a small handful did or seemed to. And suspicion lurks around the few ones that did, such as the Benton Harbor News-Palladium, which supposedly scooped all the other newspapers in the country by coming out with an elaborate 10 page commemorative edition all about JFK the very evening of the assassination. Kennedy wasn't even shot until 1:30 PM local time. Kennedy wasn't declared dead until after 2 PM local time. Yet this small town paper supposedly got that special edition out that day? Bull shit.
Look: the state killed Kennedy. OK? And after that, they had to cover it up, and that meant telling lots of lies, large and small. You don't accept the official account of the Altgens timeline unless you're a sniveling pawn of the fascist state. You say, "Hell no" to all that shit. The only reliable indicator of how long they had to alter the Altgens photo is the time interval between 12;30 and the time that it was first seen by the public.
That's it! Nothing else! You got that, Backes?
Here's an FBI memo stating that it appeared in the Saturday papers. But, if the papers had had it at 1:03 pm Friday, the memo would have said the Friday papers.
Weisberg's with me, Backes. McKnight's with me. And it sounds like even Sylvia Meagher is with me. It's Oswald in the doorway, Backes, and you and the other Lovelady-liars are shit out of luck. It's over!
