I've already pointed out that Lee had a much more bulbous nose in comparison to Harvey. But now, let's compare their ears.
I trust that's sufficient to authenticate the two ears in question. Now let's return to them.
What I am noticing is that Harvey's ear on the left was more curved and peaked. Lee's ear on the right was unusual because it was quite rectangular or block-like in shape at the top. It came over horizontally and then down vertically; so we are getting the impression of right angles. But, Harvey's ear formed more of an arch. So, there's an arched ear on the left and a block ear on the right. Notice also that Lee on the right had a thicker ring of cartilage at the top of his ear. I think it's also fair to say that Lee's ears stuck out more, and his ears were larger than Harvey's.
The longer you gaze at it, the more you realize that they're not the same ears. It's not a night and day difference, and some of the other ear comparisons we've made are more extreme, such as Gorilla Man from the Martin film and the real Lovelady. Nevertheless, it doesn't have to be a night and day difference. Any difference that is recognizable and distinguishable clinches it- it disconnects them. Plus, the ear difference gets added to the nose difference, and to any other differences we can pick out, and we are far from being done.
They are different young men, and that's a fact. It is not in doubt.
