The Newseum did everything it could to hide the unique features of Oswald's shirt.
I mean, of course, the tendency of Oswald's shirt to fold over into a long lapel, especially on his left side. That gave it the lay of a jacket, which you can see in many of his images. The Newseum shirt on the left looks way too stiff to have ever done that. The right collar, on our left, looks as stiff as a diving board. And on the other side, you can see the long hard placket, which is made of very stiff material and would never fold over the way Oswald's shirt did. Either they replaced the shirt completely or they replaced major portions of it, and the goal was to completely obliterate the unique features of it- features which we can see in the Altgens doorway.
They were trying to send a message with this, that Oswald's shirt was just a regular old shirt. But, it was NOT a regular old shirt. It was not an American shirt. I had to be of Russian or East European origin.
