This is the youngest image we have of James Bookhout, his ROTC photo from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas. The match to the Shooter with the detectives is haunting. Observe the same depth and spacing of the eyes, the same round face, the same narrow lips, and the same short neck. There aren't many who look that much like their boyhood image.
We know it was James Bookhout huddled with those detectives, and it means that Jack Ruby was innocent, despite his acceptance of guilt.
The case is blown up, but it should have blown up in 1963. As soon as people saw the different socks on the Shooter and Ruby, they should have known. They don't change your socks at the City Jail. As soon as they saw the Shooter using his middle finger, they should have known. There is no reason to believe that Ruby ever fired that gun before. It's not as though he ever got in a gunfight or ever went to the shooting range with his pistol. Using your trigger finger (your index finger) to fire the gun is intuitive. You don't have to tell little boys that that's the finger that goes on the trigger of their toy guns. The idea that Ruby would have given any thought to using his middle finger is preposterous. It just happened, like the socks, as a production error. The whole thing was a ruse. It was theater, and it starred James Bookhout. This is the 60th anniversary year, and it is time to topple JFK assassination lies- once and for all. If the State killed Oswald, then the State killed Kennedy. That is the truth.
