Of those who object to my saying that Oswald was in the doorway during the shooting, quite a few of them claim to be Oswald defenders. Yet, they make their objection without stating where he was instead. And that is most disingenuous because he had to be somewhere, and the possibilities are very limited. In fact, they are so limited, that there’s no place else he could have been but the doorway, as I’ll now explain.
It was the lunchbreak, so he wasn’t working, which rules
out floors 3 thru 7.
The only thing on the 2nd floor that was of any interest to him was the Coke machine. And we know that he did access that- he said he did. He may have accessed it twice because Hosty, in his note, said that Oswald said he went to get a Coke to have with his lunch. But, Fritz wrote down that Oswald said he got a Coke after the motorcade, ala Baker and Truly. So, Oswald may have had 2 Cokes. They were only 8 ounces then. So, that would have been 16 ounces of Coke. Both McDonald’s and Wendy’s offer 42 ounce Supersized Cokes.
However, Oswald did not eat in the 2nd floor
lunch room. Three interrogators wrote down that he said that he ate in the 1st
floor lunch room: Fritz, Bookhout, and Hosty. I’m attaching Hosty’s
note.
And if you claim to be an Oswald defender, you can’t call
him a liar. At least, you can’t do it
without exposing that you are a PHONY Oswald defender, and there are plenty of
them. There may be more phony Oswald defenders than there are LNs.
And the reason you can’t call him a liar is because, being
innocent, he wouldn’t lie to the police. And he certainly wouldn’t lie to them
about where he ate lunch. And actually, he wouldn’t and didn't lie to them about ANYTHING. He wasn’t lying when he said he owned
no rifle and never ordered one from Chicago. He wasn’t lying when he said he
never went to Mexico City. He wasn’t lying when he said that all he brought to
work was his lunch.
And he ALWAYS ate his lunch in the 1st floor
lunch room. He stored it on a shelf there, as others did. And he enjoyed
reading the newspaper as he ate, which they had there. And others, like Jack
Dougherty, said that Oswald always ate in the 1st floor lunch room.
And there is another reason why Oswald could not have been
in the 2nd floor lunch room during the motorcade. It’s because he
arrived at the 2nd floor lunch room less than 90 seconds after the
last shot. Oswald was just getting there when Officer Marrion Baker first saw
him. Oswald was in motion going into the 2nd floor lunch room when
Baker saw him. So, if he was just getting there then, how could he have been
there 90 seconds before?
And Oswald did NOT come down from the 6th floor to get to the 2nd floor lunch room. That’s impossible because Truly was ahead of Baker going up the stairs. So, Oswald would have collided with Truly if he had come down from the 6th floor. Oswald came up from the 1st floor. There were elegant stairs, right next to the doorway, that he used to get to the 2nd floor. And then, he walked across the 2nd floor expanse to get from the southeast corner of the building, where the stairs were, to the northwest corner where the lunch room was.
And before I leave this, I want to make a comical note. If you were with a cop looking for an armed and raging killer, would you want to lead the way, or would you let the cop, who had a gun, lead the way? But, Truly didn’t mind leading the way because he knew very well that there was no danger. But, just think about how ridiculous it is that a civilian would lead a cop on a dangerous mission.
But, getting back to where we were, the big question is:
when did Oswald eat in the 1st floor lunch room? He told us. He said
it was EARLY in the lunch break when Junior Jarman and Harold Norman were
milling around. And they confirmed that. So, Oswald citing them put a time on
when he ate, and it was early in the lunch break. Hosty’s note establishes the
whole timeline, that Oswald ate in the 1st floor lunch room and then
went outside to watch the Presidential Parade.
So, Oswald was NOT eating during the motorcade. He had 45 minutes to eat BEFORE the motorcade. And there was nothing else he had to do during that time. He wasn’t on the phone with anyone. He wasn’t writing a love letter to Marina or Judyth, whichever you prefer. They didn’t have a library there, and he had no book to read. And he wasn’t talking to anybody because he only talked to people when he needed something from them. He was very unfriendly and reclusive there, as people said.
So, Oswald broke for lunch, like everybody else, and he
went to the 1st floor lunch room to eat. He may have gotten a Coke
first, but that hardly matters. Then after that, he went outside to watch the
motorcade, and Carolyn Arnold reported seeing him at the doorway, which opened up a maelstrom for her.
There is no chance that he was still eating at 12:30
because it doesn’t take that long to eat a cheese sandwich and an apple. Plus,
that would be a very eccentric thing to do, to forego seeing the President and
First Lady for no reason at all. Oswald knew that they were coming. He
discussed it with Junior Jarman that morning about 9:30. Oswald asked him why
people were gathering on the sidewalk, and Jarman told him.
So, Oswald got his lunch-eating done early in the lunch
break. Like everyone else, he was released 15 minutes early, at 11:45, just so
that he could be done eating in time. And then, as Hosty wrote down, he went
outside, which is to say that he stood in the doorway. He did not go down to
the street.
Now, is there an alternative to this? No, there is not. There may have been a bathroom run somewhere in the mix, but that’s true of every everybody. He was only human.
So, the fact is that, from the evidence, including what
Oswald said, and what others reported, and from our understanding of Oswald’s
usual routine, we know that he ate lunch in the 1st floor lunch
room, early in the lunch break, and then he went outside, which is to say that
he just stepped out the door. And there, he got captured in the Altgens photo
and the Wiegman film.
There is NO alternative to this. There is NO place else he
could have been. And any Oswald defender who refuses to admit it is a phony.
And we need to think about it from a BEHAVIORAL point of
view. It would be VERY eccentric for Oswald to have 45 minutes to eat and drink
before the motorcade arrived, with him knowing that the President and First
Lady were coming, and for him to put it off, only to miss the motorcade. A real
Oswald defender wouldn’t make that ridiculous claim, imparting such an oddball behavior to Oswald. Only a PHONY one would do it.
So, the bottom line is that, for real Oswald defenders, the
doorway was where he was at 12:30. Period. There is no place else he could have
been. And those objecting to it, without even proffering an alternative, which
is usually the case, expose their disingenuousness.
And no, Oswald was NOT Prayer Man. Prayer Man was nobody.
He is a fictitious creation, invented by phony Oswald defenders and based on a
fraudulent piece of footage. Most of the Prayermanites are foreigners, from the
UK or Australia. And fortunately, they have largely faded away, and good
riddance.
Lee Harvey Oswald was in the doorway of the TSBD during the
shooting, and it’s him in the Altgens photo. And that’s something that real Oswald
defenders can’t deny, because there is no place else he could have been. It means that anyone who claims to be an
Oswald defender has to admit it, or else, they are exposed as being fake. It is
as simple as that.
