I worked hard to get this. It shows that the first Fedora Man in the Towner film MOVED. He reached for his hat.

I say I worked hard because it occurs just when he is passing out of view, and I had to stop the player several times to land it. The reason why it is important is that it shows that he was real. That is not a repetitive motion like the supposed flicking of the Towner Woman's hand, which was faked. And you'll notice above that we can't see her or the baby at all; they are MIA. It's not just that they're washed out a little and look faded. They are gone, and I am telling you that they were never there in the first place.

I heard from Brad over on McAdams' forum, and he said that others before me discussed the anomalies in the Towner film. I'll post what he wrote. I am not familiar with all of them, but one of them I am: the complete absence of figures in the doorway of the TSBD in the Towner film. We don't see any of the figures we see in the Altgens photo or the Wiegman film or others. It just looks black. Why is that? Here is Brad's complete statement:

Ralph: If the search function works in this newsgroup you might be able to
find a post from late last year from a fellow who said some others were
looking at the Towner film & believed it was messed with. If you can't
find it I remember some of that discussion:

(1) The left rear tire of JFK's parade car (Jackie's side) shows a mud
stain in the Betzner photo. The stain runs almost half of the tire. The
stain is not visible rotating nor are the hub caps rotating.

(2) JFK's & JBC's head appears to be blackened (as if with a felt tip
marker) in frames just after the splice. The back of the windshield & the
sun visors also appears darkened.

(3) The crowd in front of the TSBD does not move. Compare what you see to
witness testimony that the crowd was excitedly waving, cheering & yelling.
Pierce Allman's recent TV interviews (several are posted on YouTube) are
good to compare what you see in the Towner film versus what he saw. Mr.
Allman was standing at the front of the reflecting pool close to the steps
when JFK was ambushed.

(4) The TSBD doorway is completely black. No doorman, no Lovelady,
nothing. Altgens6, Wiegman, Darnell, Bell & Hughes demonstrate witnesses
were present in the doorway.

(5) Jackie keeps the same pose during the entire turn. She never makes a
move when witnesses made statements she waved at people on her side of the
street.

As I recall the people analyzing this film felt it had been worked on an
optical printer (available in 1963). The believe the crowd in front of the
TSBD is a static photo or two with blur applied to mimic camera pan
movement.

Hope this gives you some helpful ideas.

Brad
