Let's return to the issue of who the partial face is that we see in the Vice Presidential car in the Altgens photo. Obviously, it is either LBJ or Rufus Youngblood, but which one is it?

As you know, I think it's Youngblood, and I don't think it can be ruled out based on looks because there's enough likeness there. The text in yellow below is Robin Unger's which I do not agree with, and I added the image of Rufus Youngblood on the hood. Obviously, he wasn't on the hood. I just wanted you to see what he looked like.

But, let's look at another view of the VP car from earlier in the motorcade.

I drew the straight line connecting Yarborough, Lady Bird, and LBJ. Obviously, we are seeing them from a very different angle than in the Altgens photo, but assuming their positions remain constant, shouldn't we always be able to draw a straight line between them? Why should the line be jointed? Now let's look at the Altgens:

That line is jointed. There is an angle there. I believe that were LBJ sitting next to his wife, we would be able to draw a straight line between the three. Here is how it would look:

I can't think of any reason why that line would be jointed, no matter what angle you were viewing it from. The partial face has got to be Youngblood's, and LBJ is missing in action. He ducked.
