Robin Unger provided this image. Note that you can see the arm and shoulder of Rufus Youngblood in the front seat. But, I want you to imagine him turning around and pushing LBJ down to the floor and then "stepping" over the seat and getting on top of him, sitting on him. Doesn't it seem like others would have seen that? And I mean spectators. And doesn't it seem like it would have been awfully cumbersome and uncomfortable for everyone involved, including Lady Bird and Senator Yarborough? And if it happened, then why did Senator Yarborough say the following?

"It just didn't happen.... It was a small car, Johnson was a big man, tall. His knees were up against his chin as it was. There was no room for that to happen."

But, here is what LBJ said:

"I (LBJ) was startled by a sharp report or explosion, but I had no time to speculate as to its origin because Agent Youngblood turned in a flash, immediately after the first explosion, hitting me on the shoulder, and shouted to all of us in the back seat to get down. I was pushed down by Agent Youngblood. Almost in the same moment in which he hit or pushed me, he vaulted over the back seat and sat on me. I was bent over under the weight of Agent Youngblood's body, toward Mrs. Johnson and Senator Yarborough...."That is obviously not true because we don't see it in the Altgens photo, which was after the second shot (the third, actually).

Look at all those people on the sidewalk watching. Would't they have seen Rufus Youngblood vault over the seat and sit on top of LBJ? Let's look at it closer?

Come on now, isn't it obvious that that guy is in the front seat, in front of Lady Bird and Yarborough? Let's outline the rest of his face:

Is he, or is he not in the front seat? That is Rufus Youngblood. Officially, two shots had gone off, and he was still sitting in the front seat.
