There is another way of looking at this. Imagine if the guy with the guy was going to shoot "Connally" directly. And, the guy in the front sit of the convertible is our proxy for Connally. Say "Kennedy" wasn't there, and "Connally" was the only target. The shooter would have to move the gun, wouldn't he? He'd have to re-sight, wouldn't he? He'd have to change his line of fire, would he not? He'd have to shift that barrel, right? 

So, how can anyone assume that a shot hitting Kennedy from that location would go on to hit Connally?
