They were trying to pass off the shirt on the right as the shirt on the left. The guy on the right wasn't even Lovelady, but they were claiming he was Lovelady. So that shirt on him, the Lovelady impostor, became the shirt they were claiming for Doorman.

 Obviously, it is not a good match and far from it. But, if that distinctive button loop were jumping out at you, it would have sunk the ship of lies immediately. So, they had to put Black Tie Man in there to cover it up.

That is a truly despicable image. It is a bloodied image.
