Here's a song by Willie Nelson from 1958 that he sold for $150. It changed hands and wound up in the hands of Ray Price, who had a huge hit with it. Today, its is a signature song for both of them, and they have often performed it together. It is the incomparable Night Life, which Paul and I offer as a tribute to Willie. In Austin where I live, Willie Nelson is beloved. There is a giant statue of him at the park along the Colorado River. Now, how many people get a huge statue of them erected while they're still living? Not too many, but we're talking about Willie Nelson.
