Trump tweeted that if Iran retaliates for the killing of General Suleimani (we actually killed 8 people, including some Iraqis) that he has 52 Iranian sites picked out to bomb. And he says it includes cultural sites. Does he not know that that is a war crime?
The 1949 Geneva Conventions, to which the United States is a signatory, expressly forbids any bombing of non-military targets in war. It resulted from the monstrous attacks on civilians in World War II by both sides.
So, we have the President of the United States tweeting now that he is going to commit war crimes.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, tweeted back at him, "This is a war crime. It makes you a monster."
