This is our last song because Karen and Paul are leaving in the morning, but we are going out with a doozey, Stormy Monday by T-bone Walker. This 1948 blues classic has been inducted into the Grammy, Rock n' Roll, and Blues Foundation halls of fame, as well as being listed in the U.S. Library of Congress National Recording Registry.  It was said to have inspired B.B. King to take up electric guitar. It was the Allman Brothers who brought it to the attention of rock audiences. A favorite rendition of mine is that of the late great Eva Cassidy. But, Paul Popa and I are very pleased to have done it with Karen Mitchell, because she more than did it justice. Thank you, Karen.
