I listened to Dr. Leroy Hulsey of the University of Alaska Fairbanks as he gave his presentation on the collapse of Building 7 last night. He explained at the beginning that he was not going to present their theory of what caused the progressive collapse of that high-rise, steel-framed building. At this juncture, he was only going to address NIST's conclusion that it was caused by office fires. And, he completely discounted it. He said it was untenable that the building collapsed due to fire. And, he was appalled at the incompetence of the NIST study, for instance, not determining the thermal conduction and coefficient thermal expansion of all the materials that were involved. Nor did they make a complete virtual model of the entire building, as his team has done. He said that they have virtually rebuilt the building from scratch. And their modelling studies have shown, already, that the steel girders could not have gotten heated enough to cause them to fail.

Basically, it sounded to me like he was saying that NIST started with the conclusion that they wanted and then worked backwards to come up with a model that would support it.  Sound familiar? For instance, the Warren Commission started with the conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald was guilty and worked backwards to support it. There is absolutely no doubt that the Warren Commision undertook their investigation- from Day 1 - with the objective of proving Oswald's lone guilt.

Dr. Hulsey also pointed out that NIST claimed that the fire in Building 7 continued for 7 hours, but they never did a calculation of the amount of combustible material available to support the fire.

Note that besides being a civil and environmental engineer, Dr. Husley is also a forensic engineer. How appropriate that he be leading this study.

As you know, the 9/11 anniversary is just days away. And, there is no question that the two biggest and most enduring "truther" issues in this country are 9/11 and JFK. I think of 9/11 Truth and JFK Truth as sister movements. It's hard to say which is going to burst into mainstream recognition first, but whichever one it is, the other won't be far behind. There is going to be reckoning. There is going to be an awakening. There is going to be a new awareness. And what is going to come afterwards- the repercussions- is anybody's guess.
