This is the most enduring song of Big-bandleader Buddy Johnson, who was the first to integrate white and black musicians in his orchestra. He took a lot of flak for it too, both here and in Europe. But, he didn't care. He led the way.  This is a torch song, a blues ballad, and I think it is very cool and classy. From 1945, it's called Since I Fell For You
