If Oswald knew that Kennedy was about to be killed, what was his duty? His duty was to stop it. Hoping that an 'abort team' would show up was a dereliction of his duty. How could he be innocent if he inspected the rifle for the killer to use to kill Kennedy, telling him that it was ready? How could he be innocent if he knowingly watched the slaughter? How could he be innocent if after knowingly watching the slaughter, he got in a car and rode off with the killers? How could he be innocent if he had every intention of flying out of the country with them?

Even if he had sent a telex- and there is no evidence that he did because the one and only telex that we have was an internal FBI document sent by the Director- that would not excuse Oswald from failing to act decisively at the last minute.

We are talking about Kennedy's life here and Oswald's knowledge that he was about to be killed. What did Oswald owe Kennedy at that moment? He owed him everything. He owed him the most daring and heroic action imaginable. That's what Oswald owed John F. Kennedy.

Try to personalize this. Say it wasn't Oswald in the building but Richard Hooke. And say it wasn't Kennedy in the limo, but Richard Hooke's son who was about to be gunned down.

What would Richard Hooke do in that circumstance? Apparently, Richard Hooke would just hope that an 'abort team' showed up to save his son. And after Richard Hooke's son had his brain blown out, Richard, who watched it passively from the doorway, would say, "Well, I sent a telex, and I really hoped that somebody would show up to save my son."

And then, Richard would expect to receive a medal.

That is the sick, perverse world that Richard Hooke lives in. He is child. He is not a man. And, he is incapable of rational thought. And he is not an Oswald defender; he is an Oswald accuser.

Now before anyone complains, you reckon with the fact that Richard Hooke maintains that Oswald had full knowledge of the assassination plot, that he collaborated with the killers up until the last minute, that through his actions, he led them to think that he was one of them, such as by inspecting the rifle to determine if it was ready to be fired at the President, that he knowingly went downstairs and watched the slaughter take place, taking no evasive action to stop it, only crossing his fingers that an 'abort team' would show up, and then he rode off with the killers afterwards and followed their directions, and then he was going to depart the country with them. Then, he continued to protect the killers afterwards saying nothing to police about them.

So, that is the reality of the picture that Richard Hooke paints of Lee Harvey Oswald, and it is not a pretty picture. And, it is certainly not a picture of innocence, although Richard is too stupid to realize it. This is an outrage. Richard Hooke should not be allowed to post on a Lee Harvey Oswald is Innocent page, as he is not an advocate of Oswald innocence.
