This just in from John Armstrong: RALPH, WHEN I VISITED THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES I INSPECTED THE ORIGINAL BUS TRANSFER. FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH, IT WAS FOLDED IN HALF AND HAS A SMALL, AND LITTLE NOTICED CREASE. IT'S NOT PRISTINE AT ALL.

You see? Another urban legend falls. The idea that on the afternoon of November 22, the Dallas Police had nothing better to do with their time than to embark up on a huge, grandiose, theatrical production to dramatize Oswald's trek from Dealey Plaza based on the story that HE told them. They decided to bring his tale, his story to life with colorful characters, anecdotes, quirks, and oddities. And they had it irreversibly launched by 4:00 pm.

Wake up folks. It wasn't remotely possible. Oswald took the bus and cab.
