I want to publicly thank Professor James Norwood for sending me this letter. I am going to take his advice to heart, and I am very glad to know that he is still a strong supporter of John Armstrong and the Two Oswalds because there cannot be an accurate understanding of the JFK assassination without recognizing the two Oswalds. Without it, it's just stumbling around in the dark.

Ralph,

You've done a good job in the presentation of the photos of Harvey and Lee, and I agree with your interpretation of the curious Marine photo of Lee.  I also appreciate you acknowledging me for uncovering the strange photo of Oswald with the tubular neck.

Your brief blog posts on Harvey and Lee would be improved by working closer to John Armstrong's materials.  You and I are both great advocates of John's work.  But John's major contributions are not in the area of photo analysis.  His nearly 1000-page book primarily presents documentary evidence and and eyewitness testimony with the photos relegated to an addendum on his CD-ROM.  Unless other students of the JFK case have actually read John's book, it is not enough merely to display photos and ask others for a leap of faith in understanding the complex story of the two Oswalds.  John has said that it is necessary for the casual reader to complete full readings of Harvey and Lee at least two or three times.  I agree with his assessment.

In your discourse, you merely assume that people will agree with your photo displays, but when there is disagreement on any issue, your intemperate reaction is "My Way or The Highway!"

Your blog posts would be improved by working closer to the methodology of John Armstrong, especially in his close work with documents.  By relying exclusively on photos, you are doing a disservice to John's research and investigative work, and you are not even providing readers with links to key sections of John's book or articles on the Harvey and Lee website:  http://harveyandlee.net/

Another excellent resource for you to consult is John's notebooks, which are archived on the Baylor University library website:  http://harveyandlee.net/

If you begin to post images of documents on your blog (as opposed to relying only on subjective interpretations of photos), your efforts might garner respect, as opposed to ridicule.
