Here is another view of Oswald's ear on the left. Here you're not seeing the "indentation" as much.

But, I have to laugh because the very idea that we would see something that minute on Doorman is ridiculous- even if it was part of him. There are limits to what can be wrung out of Doorman's image in terms of detail. But, in looking at those two images, I see excellent correlation of those ears. Really, it's superb. The idea that bpete would find fault with it is whack-out, bizarre, and crazy.
