Mr. SHELLEY - Oh, yes.
Mr. BALL - In November 1963, what was your job down there?
Mr. SHELLEY - Well, I am manager of the miscellaneous department and have been for several years.

The "miscellaneous department"? At a book distributorship? Books came in. Books went out. What do you need a miscellaneous department for? 

But, Shelley actually called it the "miscellaneous department" and said that he was the manager of it. 

I find it very strange that a young man who was in the military in WW2 and was an intelligence agent would go to work for a distributor of Dick and Jane books for little kids and still be there 16 years later. And what's he doing there? He's the manager of the "miscellaneous department". 

David Josephs, who is quite active in JFK circles, posted an image from August 1963 of what he alleges to be Bill Shelley and Lee Oswald together at the International Trade Mart in New Orleans. You'll find it here:

Indeed, what was Bill Shelley doing at the International Trade Mart in New Orleans with Lee Harvey Oswald in August 1963?

I keep saying that it's very significant that Oswald said that he was "out with BILL SHELLEY in front". He could have cited Sarah Stanton or Billy Lovelady or Buell Frazier. So, why did he pick Shelley? It's because he knew Shelley. He knew Shelley well. And he THOUGHT that Shelley would be quick to vet him to police. He thought that he and Shelley were on the same side since they were both intelligence agents. 

Now Backes, I know you have the brain power of a rotting log, but are you smart enough to realize that if that was Oswald with Shelley in August 1963 that it indicts the entire Texas School Book Depository and not just the manager of their "miscellaneous department"? It would mean that William Weston is right that the TSBD was a CIA front company. 

It doesn't mean that they didn't actually distribute school books for little kids. I have no doubt whatsoever that that was actually going on. But, it was still just a cover for their clandestine activities. 

I thank Ted Rubinstein for alerting me to the existence of that image, but now if somebody who is a member of Deep Politics would go there and retrieve that image and share it with us, I would greatly appreciate it. 

This is big. If that is Bill Shelley with Lee Harvey Oswald at the Trade Mart in August 1963, it is big, big, big!
