So, why did they install an arm on this guy with his hand facing the wrong way? And how did they expect to get away with it?

They expected to get away with it because the year was 1963, and all people had to view it was their televisions. Televisions weren't that big back then. They didn't have big-screen tvs. And people generally had just one tv, in the living room, and they sat some distance away from it. So, if they saw it in some fleeting footage, the almost certainly would NOT observe the anomaly.

But, this is 2014, and everybody has got a home computer, and we are much closer to our computer screens than we are to televisions. And with our computers, we can stop films, crop images, enlarge them, magnify them, hone-in on them, illuminate them, as needed. Today, we have power. It is technology- consumer technology- that has been the undoing of the JFK assassination cover-up. And, they didn't see it coming. They didn't anticipate the digital age. They didn't anticipate home computers. They didn't anticipate the internet. They thought it was going to continue to be the way it was, and they were wrong.

This is pretty bad. It is pathetic. And it is the end- for them.
