Robin Unger put this up: a collage of Nix 25 and Nix 26. Notice how far Martin advanced on Mary Moorman in that 1/18 of a second. 

How far do you figure he moved? His head was completely obscured in 25, and it's poking out in broad daylight in 26. His head is quite a bit in front of hers in 26, don't you think? But, his head was behind hers in 25. So again: how much ground do you think he could have covered in 1/18 of a second at a time that the motorcade had halted to practically a complete stop? That's 1/18 of a second. 1/18. Notice that Hargis' motorcycle was lined up with the limousine exactly the same way. So, he hadn't gained on it at all. So again: how did Martin travel so far so fast in just 1/18 of a second? That's 1/18 of a second. One-eighteenth of a second.
