bpete: that statement was made in February 2012. This is June 2014. At that time, I hadn't figured out yet that Gorilla Man wasn't Lovelady. I fell for the ruse. But, it was only shortly after that that we pierced the veil. As I recall, it was the Spring of 2012 that we all came to realize that Gorilla Man was an impostor. I mean me, Jim, Dennis, Richard, and Larry. 

But, there is no doubt about it.  These two are definitely not the same man:

So, why do you have to be such a little shit, and go mining for stuff that I said long ago? Don't you have better things to do with your time than pour through stuff I was saying in Feburary 2012? Or, do you have people at the office in Langley doing that for you? Because, you say you have got a girlfriend and whatnot, and I just can't see someone wanting to spend their time doing it. 

But to everyone else, remember: even a smart mouse, if you put him in a maze, is likely to go down a few blind alleys before he figures out the right course to get to the cheese. I have NO apologies to make for any of my past mistakes. They haven't been that many; they haven't been that serious; and I doubt that anyone else could have done better. 

My serious involvement in JFK didn't begin until November 2011. So, if I didn't have Gorilla Man figured out by February 2012, I don't consider that a failing. It just took a little longer, although not much longer. Gorilla Man was DEFINITELY not Lovelady. Lovelady was not there at the time, and he told us so himself. The guy doesn't look like Lovelady- and not even like he could be related to Lovelady. And there is solid written and photographic evidence that Lovelady was not wearing a plaid shirt- and that too comes directly from Lovelady himself. 

So, never mind that statement of mine from February 2012. We have traveled light years since then. And, I am very pleased that it was very soon after that that I came upon the truth that Gorilla Man was NOT Lovelady.
