But wait! In that case, why would Lance be a friend and supporter of bpete when bpete advocates that Oswald was "locking and loading" on the 6th floor and "pumping rounds into Kennedy"?
If the only difference between me and Lance is that I think Oswald was in the doorway during the shooting and Lance thinks he was in the lunch room, then why would Lance prefer to align himself with a guy who places Oswald on the 6th floor firing at Kennedy?
But, what about the impact during the 50th of those who were advocating Oswald's guilt? For instance, Geraldo Rivera had Mark Lane and Cyril Wecht on at the same time, and after they left he spoke to his audience and said that we're just going to have accept the fact that a crazed madman, Lee Harvey Oswald, shot our beloved 35th President. For an Oswald defender, isn't that the nightmare, the living nightmare?
But, why, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, would a "conspiracy believer" collude with a "Warren Commission apologist"? Lance has got a link to bpete's blog on his blog, and bpete supports most of the contentions of the Warren Commission including the most crucial one- that Oswald was alone on the 6th floor shooting at Kennedy. There is no rational for this. There is no excuse for it.
If there is anything you need to know, if there is any litmus for sincerity in the study of the JFK assassination, it is this: THERE SHOULD BE NOTHING BUT DEEP RANCOR AND LOATHING BETWEEN OSWALD DEFENDERS AND OSWALD ACCUSERS.
All I'm saying is that it should be just like any other trial. If you have ever watched 20/20 or Dateline or other programs that follow trials- especially murder trials- you know how polarized it is, that the divisions between the ones who support the defendant and the ones that accuse him are of the greatest severity. It's a divide that rivals the Hatfields and the McCoys. But, what we see within the JFK community, where you have Joseph Backes, an alleged Oswald defender, addressing bpete, a known Oswald accuser, as "Sir", and Lance Uppercut doing more or less the same is sickening. It is a sickening spectacle that should make every honest JFK researcher cringe and rage. It is truly an outrage.
Ralph Cinque is such a real threat that it warrants colluding with Oswald accusers and indicters?
And Lance says I have a "wildly overactive imagination"? But, here is Lance's imagination at work: He says that these two individuals are not only the same man, but they are the same man at the same time: minutes after the assassination outside the TSBD:
Keep in mind that it doesn't really matter if it's the exact same minute. If one were 12:51 or 12:52, it wouldn't make one iota of difference. It's shortly after the assassination outside the TSBD, and that's all that matters. But, one has got his shirt buttoned up, almost to the top, with no exposure of his t-shirt, while the other has got his shirt unbuttoned almost all the way down, with vast exposure of his t-shirt. One has got a plaid pattern with small boxes and fine lines whereas the other has got a large, geometric pattern, with big blocks of white and black that are completely absent from the other shirt. One has got a flat comb-over while the other has his got his hair sticking straight up.
So, how can they possibly be the same man? Where is the "credibility" in that? How does that not ridicule the whole JFK community?
Ronald Reagan told Mikhail Gorbachev: "Tear down that wall."
I tell Lance Uppercut: "Tear down that link."
