OK, so here is what happened: They had that woman there waving, but there was something next to her that they wanted to cover up. So, they found the picture of the girl who was sitting somewhere. She wasn't being held; she was sitting on a flat surface. That's why her body form is so geometric, or you could say, linear with sharp angles. If she were cradled in someone's arm, she would be molded to that. She wouldn't be so linear. There is something solid underneath her. But, she is just sitting; she is not being held. 


So, they put the girl in there, cinched her up close and tight to the woman, and then they "pinkified" the whole thing. And they figured that would sell the idea that the woman was carrying her- with just one arm. They must have thought that nobody who saw it would know anything about human bio-mechanics. They thought wrong.
