I stand corrected on "lea." beng short for leisure;. It's much more likely that it's short for leather. So, I removed that post.
However, it remains certain that the Dallas Police did NOT replace Ruby's shoes and socks. It is insane to think that they did. It was a CIty Jail, and prisoners only stay there until they are arraigned. After their arraignment, they are transferred to the County Jail. And arraignments come very fast, usually within 24 hours. Oswald was arraigned in less than 24 hours, and so was Luigi Mangione, the suspect in the CEO murder case. It's a Constiutional right to appear before a judge swiftly- as a check against police misconduct.
Mangione was arraigned in his own clothes, and so was Ruby. That picture I have posted of Ruby looking dazed and glassy-eyed was him being taken to his arraignment late Sunday afternoon, and he was wearing his own clothes, including a dressy white shirt. Ruby was remanded to the County Jail, and he was taken there the next day about Noon. SO, WHY DID THEY PUT HIM IN OTHER CLOTHES FOR ONE EVENING? There is no doubt that they put him in other pants and shirt. BUT, FOR THEM TO HAVE CHANGED HIS SOCKS, SHOES, AND UNDERWEAR, AS WELL? That is insane! They didn't do that. He wore his own black leather shoes.
Since these are both black and white photos, we're talking about greyscale. But, the greyscale of the Shooter's shoes on the left is lighter than Ruby's jet black shoes on the right. So, the Shooter's shoes were probably brown and not black.
They were caught red-handed, and that's why they quickly claimed that they changed Ruby's shoes and underwear. It was just damage control, and only a fool would believe it. Ruby wore black leather shoes, and we are seeing them on the right. He did not wear the dressy brown wingtips on the left. He was not the Garage Shooter of Lee Harvey Oswald. Jack Ruby was innocent.
