Look at this newsclip of Ruby. Start by looking at the cop, whose eyes look sharp, focused, attentive, and studious. Then, look at Ruby's eyes. Look at that weird, dazed, dilated, zombied look. He was drugged, heavily drugged. And he said he was drugged. If you read his narrative, he said that he had doubled his dose of amphetamines days before, and on the Sunday morning, he took some other tablets.
Who talks like that? Who refers to taking other tablets without saying how, why, and what? I doubt that Ruby talked like that. I think his editor, whose name was William Read Woodfield, must have removed the damaging part. I don't know how Woodfield got the job. He was a Hollywood screenwriter who went on to write some of the Mission Impossible episodes for television. Ruby couldn't have arranged it, so who did?
The American people fell for the Ruby ruse like lemmings going over a cliff. And they still do to this day, by and large. But, Jack Ruby was innocent. He was just as innocent as Oswald. The people who killed JFK and framed Oswald for it needed him dead, desperately. They killed him, and they framed poor Jack Ruby for it. Ruby was one of the most used and abused persons who ever lived. At least Oswald got to defend himself. He did plenty of damage those last two days of his life. But, Ruby did nothing at all to stand up for himself because he didn't have the mental capacity to do it. Oswald did, but he didn't.
