Let's remember that we do know, beyond any doubt, that they DID weave different films together, that they took multiple clips from different films and spliced them together- repeatedly- to make it look like one continuous progression.
That happened; we know it happened. Therefore, what is so terrible about asking whether it may have happened some more?
Notice in the clip below that there is nothing particularly tall about the cop in the white hat who was escorting Oswald. He isn't taller than the man in front of him or the men beside him or behind him.
They're all about the same height.
That is in sharp contrast to how it is farther along, where the cop's height stands out as a unique thing, not only in contrast to Oswald, but to the other men around him. Here is the first glimpse we get of him.
Look how much taller the big cop is than everybody else. Taller not just than Oswald but everybody else. He's towering. Let's put those two frames side by side:
And here he is a few seconds later:
Is that even the same face?
Notice that you don't see the decorative lapels on the shoulder of his shirt on the right, as you do on the left.
You see what I'm talking about, right Backes? OK, let's look for them on the other guy:
I'm not seeing it. But, let's keep looking:
I'm not seeing it, Backes. You think it's due to the settings? the type of camera? the lens? Once more:
No, I'm just not seeing it, Backes. It was a different uniform. He was a different man. And look again at how much leaner this guy looks:
I don't see them being the same man, but according to Joseph Backes, it is an outrage to ask the question. Sure, we know they merged clips from different films into this sequence, but how dare I ask whether they did it here. Look again at the shoulders, Backes:
