My name is DG (name removed by RC) and I have a relentless drive for the truth in the JFK assassination, it is unfortunate more do not understand why  it is important we get to the truth.  Let me also say thank you to your group for all the hard work on the topic.  While you make it clear that your group doubts Lee Harvey Oswald was on the 6th floor during the shooting I offer a small tidbit that supports this assertion and maybe an overlooked detail.  if examined would directly challenge further the timeline as put forth by the Warren Commission.  It is well documented LHO was seen in the break room drinking a coke about 90 seconds after the last shot.  A little known fact, the two elevators were stuck on the upper floors of the TSBD because the power had gone off in the building sometime just before the shooting occurred (suspicious in an of its self) this information was reported by many including the three women  the book “The Girl on The Stairs” was based on.  My questions relate to any known information of exactly what caused or what time the power went off in the TSBD?  Why is this important?  How could LHO get a Coke from an electro mechanical machine without power?  I am familiar with the specific type coke machine he would have used and it would not release the coke without power.  Would this not speak directly to the possible timeline and when LHO had to be in the break room to purchase the coke?  Obviously it must have been prior to the power going off?  It is not logical to think he bought a coke and then raced up to the 6th floor shot JFK and then raced back down to be seen drinking the coke by the TSBD manager & Officer.  Or less logical to think he carried it up and down with him while he shot the president?  Therefore collaborating further the fact he was in the break room prior to and during the time JFK was shoot.  This may be a minor point but is supporting evidence where LHO was when the shots were fired.   Any information your group may have on this would be greatly appreciated.

DG

Ralph Cinque:

Thank you, D, but this issue is easier to explain than you realize. And actually, the point you are making does have tremendous value- except that it is the opposite of what you think. What your point proves is that, as Truly and Baker said, Oswald did not have the Coke when they encountered him. That Oswald was sipping on a Coke when they saw him is just an urban legend. Both said that he had NOTHING in his hands. But then, shortly afterwards, Mrs. Reid reported that Oswald had a "full" bottle of Coke when he passed through her office to exit. So, by the time he got his Coke, the power had been turned back on.

And, what that means is that Oswald got his Coke AFTER his encounter with Truly and Baker- again, just as they said. They would not have lied about that, and they would not have collaborated about such a lie. They didn't even know each other.

And it is extremely important to recognize that Oswald had no Coke with them because what it means is that OSWALD DID NOT GO TO THE LUNCH ROOM TO GET  A COKE. Somebody must have told him to go there- to wait for a call on the pay phone, to meet somebody, or to look for somebody. It was one of those things. Getting the Coke is something that he did afterwards.

It is exactly the same with the Texas Theater. He didn't go there because he had a hankering for a war movie. He went there because somebody told him to go there to meet somebody. Now, the fact is, while there, he did buy some popcorn, but it's irrelevant. It's not why he went there. And likewise, Oswald did not go to that lunch room to get a Coke. He had another reason to go there, and he must have been told to go there.

Oswald was in the doorway. Imagine if he moved out into the plaza and never went back inside. How were they going to pin the assassination on him? He had to be discovered in a place that could be linked to the 6th floor in a timely manner. That was vital to the whole frame-up. What was the best possible place for him to be discovered? It was the 2nd floor lunch room.

Now, to those who believe that Oswald was framed and innocent, do you think the conspirators just got lucky that on his own volition, at the crucial time, he went to the very best place that he could have gone from their perspective? That he just happened to want a Coke at that time, so they got lucky?

The bloodied should know that I spit on the word "luck" as I do on the word "coincidence" when it comes to the JFK assassination. Oswald was told to go to the lunch room, and you can bet the farm on it. Ralph Cinque
