Cinque, you are so thick-headed. You just proved my point 100%.
1. MY claim was that people enter the conspiracy cult as writers because they know their books will sell better.
2. You claimed that is not true.
3. Then you stick your own foot in your mouth by pointing out that "JFK and the Unspeakable" has sold much better than "Reclaiming History."
Have you ever been tested for mental retardation?

My point, which you so stupidly missed, is that "JFK and the Unspeakable" was a rare exception precisely because the book is so brilliant. Word of mouth alone -without the media help that Reclaiming History received- vaulted it to the top. JFK and the Unspeakable is the best-selling book on the JFK assassination of the 21st century.
You said: "educated readers totally ignored his (Douglass') work". That is a lie! You think Amazon book-buyers are less educated than the general public? Based on what?
And how ridiculous you are. You say that people enter the conspiracy cult as writers because they know their books will sell better. So, they hold their wet finger up to the wind and decide what to believe and champion based on money? It has nothing to do with their actual convictions?
And if sales volume is all they care about, why not write LN books and take advantage of all that media help? Take Bugliosi as an example. Because he was a media darling for Reclaiming History, with him getting lots of favorable reviews and being invited for a lot of interviews, it wound up with an Amazon rank of 121, 740. But, when he released The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, the media ignored it, leaving that book with an Amazon rank of only 500,703.
So, the media attention makes a big difference- it helps tremendously. So, if anyone was going to write a JFK book just aimed at selling it, they'd be better off taking it LN. The fact is that JFK and the Unspeakable overcame the obstacles and impediment of a media boycott precisely because it is so good.
So, the situation is exactly the opposite of what you are saying. And don't bother getting tested for mental retardation. You are.
