The idiots on McAdams' forum are in denial about the guy in front of the TSBD being George HW Bush, and they are insisting he was Dallas Detective Guy Rose. Amazingly, not a single one of them thought it necessary to provide an image of Guy Rose to compare to the other guy.

First and foremost, that guy doesn't look like Guy Rose. With his narrow face and long lanky body, the man in question doesn't look anything like Guy Rose. Can they distinguish a giraffe from a bull dog? Apparently not, so I'll have to take a different approach.

There's a perspective you should have when looking at this photo.

What it shows is a division between two groups of men. One group is on the left, and the other is on right. On the left you have the "suits" and on the right you have the "cops" in uniform.

We can be pretty darn sure that by that point in time, the regular spectators were gone. Everyone we're seeing there above had an official capacity of some kind.

On the right, you see the Dallas cops in uniform. You also see one Dallas detective, wearing his trademark white Stetson hat. But who are those guys on the left?

They weren't locals. They didn't work for the city of Dallas. They weren't Dallas detective, and they weren't the accounting pool. And they didn't work for the state of Texas, which had practically no involvement in the investigation. They were federal agents.

So, there were two groups: the locals and the feds. The man in question was huddled with the feds, and that's because he was a fed. Guy Rose was a local, and if he were there, he would have been huddled with the cops, just as the one detective we see was.

This is another reason why that guy most certainly was not Guy Rose. However, it pales in comparison to the fact that Guy Rose looks nothing like the man in question. For most people, that would be enough. And note that Guy Rose is the ONLY name that has ever been suggested as an alternative to George HW Bush.

But, there is no alternative. The man was George HW Bush.
