They do make clocks on coat racks. At least, I found one on Google. Maybe there are more, but I could only find one. But, what are the chances they had one in the Squad room of the Dallas Homicide detectives?

Who would have ordered such a thing? When you think about what a police squad room needs, what cops would be expected to want and order, clock on a coat rack does not come to mind.

And why such a big clock? The damn thing is huge! It was a tiny room! What, were they half- blind? What, did they have large print Readers Digests there too?  I have never seen a clock that big in any size room in my entire life.

I think they were selling something, and what they were selling was that it was 2:00. They were trying to link it to Oswald's arrest at the theater at 1:45, followed by the short drive to City Hall, and then the traipse through the building, which got them to the detectives' division at 2:00. But, why did they get the idea that they had to sell it? It's probably because it wasn't 2:00.

The entire traipse through the building that they showed us is patchwork of different clips from different times and different spots. And look at how goofy Oswald's shirt looks. They painted that on. He was just in a t-shirt at the time. But, when they arrived and they were leading him through the building, his shirt was half-off like that, and so they made it look like that here.

So, who wants to defend this crap? You guys who think that the Dallas Police were busy at this time concocting a bus ride and cab ride for Oswald, you think that their softer, gentler side went for coat racks with clocks? Doesn't is seem more like an artsy, folksy, down-home kind of thing? As in: sit down a while, set a spell, take your coat off, take your shoes off, have some lemonade, y'all come back now, y'hear?
