You say bpete came to my rescue, Backes?

Would that be the same bpete that you call "Sir"?

Would that be the same bpete who claims that Oswald was up on the 6th floor locking and loading on Kennedy and pumping rounds into him?

Would that be the same bpete that you feature at the top of your blog list?

So, let me get this straight: a guy advocates that Oswald killed Kennedy, and that doesn't bother you. You are friends with him; you respect him; you even honor him.

So, core issues, like who killed Kennedy, aren't central to you. You base your alliances on other things. That's not the crux of the matter to you, is it?

Ah, but I'm afraid that it's a case of unrequited love, Backes, because bpete doesn't honor you the same. You come up with an idea for another African-American, and bpete has never endorsed it. It's just you and the champion of flechette-firing umbrellas, and that's all. You advocate that the bus and cab rides were faked by the Dallas Police, but bpete defended the authenticity of the bus transfer ticket because of the way it was cut. And even now, with you saying that Fedora Man2 in Towner wasn't really in front of the Obelisk, as in ...

...there hasn't been a word out of bpete endorsing this crap of yours.

And speaking of this crap of yours, have you exchanged any words with Robin Unger lately? Because, he was saying the exact opposite, that the man in front of the decorative facade was actually by the Obelisk.

However, the update is that Robin Unger quietly went back in, without making any announcements, without admitting that he was changing his mind, and removed his original statements, and is now trying to make it that the man who appears to be by the facade was actually by the Obelisk. Here is his rational:

When looking at Altgen's we must also take into account the foreshortening effect produced by the 105mm telephoto lens, that makes distant objects seem much closer than they really are.

Yes, it sounds like Unger is trying to agree with you now, Backes, so congratulations. One wishes that he would have been man enough to admit that he was wrong and was revising his claim. But, to be up-front and open and honest is way too much to expect from a Kennedy-killer like him.

However, he's really painted himself into a corner. If the effect of Altgens 105mm telephoto lens makes distant objects appear closer than they really are, then we should be seeing the Fedora Man closer- in front of the Obelisk- as we do in Towner, and not farther away by the facade.

Are you listening? He said that DISTANT OBJECTS APPEAR CLOSER due to the foreshortening. But, that is not the case in Altgens. The other Fedora Man appears more distant in Altgens. It's in Towner that the other Fedora Man appears closer.

Look: both you and Unger claim that this below is the Fedora Man who corresponds to the one with the Woman and Boy in Altgens:

So, that takes care of him. But there is another Fedora Man in Altgens and also another Fedora Man in Towner, and you both are trying to equate them. Unger is now claiming they are the same man based on the fact that Altgens' lens caused distant objects to appear closer. But, the other Fedora Man does NOT appear closer in Altgens. He appears farther away in Altgens. He only appears closer in Towner.

So, in reality, Unger is now claiming that a near object was made to look farther away by Altgens' lens. The guy we see in Altgens' picture is far away. Right?

So stealthily, Robin has changed his position to conform with you but he ended up sticking his foot in his mouth because in Altgens, the distant object doesn't SEEM to be closer. He SEEMS to be farther away. In fact, he SEEMS to be as far away as he can possibly be.

Maybe if you call him "Sir" it will snap him back to reality.
