Dear Jerry,
Thank you for your call today. I appreciate it very much.
Thank you for your call today. I appreciate it very much.
You are now invited to become a senior member of the Oswald Innocence Campaign. There is no cost or obligation. You'd be in the company joining David Wrone, whom I know you know, and also Mark Lane, Vincent Salandria, Gerald McKnight, Craig Roberts, and also Phillip Nelson and Peter Janney who are speaking at that other conference next weekend.
Of course, we champion Oswald innocence, but we also stipulate that he was standing in the doorway at the time of the shots. I know you are giving a tribute to Harold Weisberg next weekend, and Harold was a strong advocate of Oswald in the doorway.
It is the photographic evidence that clinches it beyond doubt because you can see Oswald's shirt on Doorman. You can also see his unique t-shirt with the notched opening. Their builds match; their stance is the same; and if you look closely, you can match the facial features as well, including chin, mouth, nose, ear, and eyes.
That much likeness- in the man and the clothing- between Oswald and Lovelady isn't possible, especially when you consider that at the time, Lovelady was 5'8" 170 pounds, and Oswald was 5'9" 131 pounds. You might say they were like Laurel and Hardy. You can visit our website to see the photographic evidence laid out in full. http://oswald-innocent.com
There are those who try to play down the importance of this, but that is ridiculous. For every criminal defendant who denies guilt, the most important question is: "If you didn't do it, then where were you at the time of the crime?" It's called an alibi, and Oswald needs one just as much as any other defendant.
Jerry, you know as well as I do that Oswald was not on the 6th floor. So, if he wasn't in the doorway, where was he? He told Fritz that he was "out with Bill Shelley in front" and that is the best evidence we have of the alibi he gave to police.
Those who reject Oswald in the doorway but who also reject the official story of Oswald on the 6th floor, often fail to state where he was. For instance, Joseph Backes doesn't state where Oswald was. Apparently, he doesn't know. He just has this strong opinion that he wasn't the Doorway Man in the Altgens photo.
Some say Oswald was in the 2nd floor lunch room at 12:30. But why? Oswald had already eaten lunch. He ate it in the Domino Room at a time when Junior Jarman and Harold Norman were milling around. That had to be before the assassination because at the time of the assassination they were perched at the 5th floor window directly underneath the Sniper's Nest.
So, Oswald ate well before 12:30, probably 12:15 to 12:20, and even Vincent Bugliosi admits it. And he didn't get his Coke to drink until after 12:30. He had no Coke when Truly and Baker saw him in the lunch room, but shortly afterwards, Mrs. Reid saw him with a "full" Coke. So, that means he must have gotten his Coke after Truly and Baker left.
So, there is no basis to say that Oswald was eating or drinking at 12:30. So, what would he have been doing in the lunch room alone at the time of the shots? Counting the holes in the ceiling?
And why the heck wouldn't Oswald want to go outside to see Kennedy? I know you said you are acquainted with Marina, and in that case, you probably know that she has said many times that Oswald liked President Kennedy. She even said that at her family gatherings in Russia, that Oswald defended JFK to her relatives, including her KGB uncle.
She and Oswald had lived through the Cuban Missile Crisis in which we almost went to nuclear war with Russia. The one who prevented it was JFK. Considering that they were an American and Soviet couple, you can imagine what a relief it was to them that war was avoided. I imagine they were very grateful to Kennedy- personally. Oswald was known to have gone to the public library and checked out Profiles in Courage. It's also said that he read James Bond books because Kennedy liked them. The night before, Marina told him how much she wished she could lay eyes on Kennedy. So, why wouldn't Oswald want to watch the motorcade? What reason is there to think he would be disinterested? What reason do Oswald defenders have to depict him as some kind of weirdo who would rather count holes in the ceiling than go outside and watch Kennedy? There is every reason to think Oswald went outside.
And Jerry, if you really get into it, you realize that the case for Lovelady was totally fabricated, and not just with words, but with phony images. It is staggering when you realize the depth of the chicanery that went into selling this wicked lie.
Join us, Jerry! We would love to have you. We would be honored to have you. I really believe the OIC is rapidly becoming the voice of Oswald innocence- on the net and in the world. It's sure to keep growing, and you should be part of it. Thanks for considering it.
Ralph Cinque
