Backes, why do you have to be so dishonest? The point is that there was a dramatized beheading on Turkish television in February which was followed by the real thing in August which look uncannily alike. Why didn't you show both? Let people decide for themselves whether it is significant.

Notice that the executioners are both left-handed. What percent of people are left-handed? Reportedly just 7 to 10%. Of course, we don't know if the guy on the left was really left-handed because he was acting. It looked better to do it that way because wielding it in his right hand would have obscured the view of the victim.

Notice that both have the knife holster on their left side. Is that correct? I should think it would be more accessible from the right side if you're left-handed. Try to perform the action. Wouldn't it be far easier for him to extract the knife from his right side? But wait. Extracting it is one thing, but what about putting it back? I should think it would be very hard to replace that knife in that holster on his left side with his left hand.

Here's a guy with a knife holster. He has it on his left side to access with his right hand.

Here's another example, and you can see that the knife holster is on his right as his left hand goes over.

Here he is another example in which he's holding the knife in his right hand, having reached to his left to access it.

Here's another one in which the man is wearing the knife on his right side to access it with his left hand.

Here's another. It's a longer knife, but again: the holster is on his left to access with his right hand.

So, I have to think that this guy is wearing his knife holster on the wrong side for him being left-handed.
