Ron Schuster Remember Ruby's lawyer? Cooked. Would ANY lawyer allowed in to see Oswald have been any different? Ray's lawyer? Sirhan's lawyer?

Ralph Cinque You're right, Ron. Tom Howard was seen talking at length with Will Fritz the very night before. Now, why would Ruby's lawyer be doing that? Ruby didn't ask for Tom Howard. Ruby didn't say Howard was his lawyer. Ruby went along with it because Ruby went along with everything. The Dallas Police made Tom Howard Ruby's lawyer, with the excuse that Howard had done some work for Ruby in the past. But, that was years before, and the matter was settled, and at time of the Oswald shooting, Howard was NOT Ruby's lawyer. So, you are right that it was a cooked thing, and the DPD cooked it up. And you're right that it was the same way with Nichols. Of course, he never claimed to be Oswald's lawyer, but he did claim to be there with Oswald's welfare in mind, and that was a lie. He was an instrument of the Dallas Police, to help them save face.
