This fabulous song was featured in one of my favorite movies, The Fabulous Baker Boys, starring Jeff Bridges and his brother Beau as brothers who were lounge piano players. When they decide to bring a female vocalist into the act, they audition a score of them, and as Jeff's character Jack put it, "Not one could carry a tune." Then, Michelle Pfeiffer's character Suzy Diamond stumbled in, literally. She was two hours late, and they were reluctant to let her try out. But, they did, as soon as she started singing, they looked at each other like they were hearing the voice of an angel. And it didn't hurt that she was singing this song, More Than You Know, by Vincent Youmans, from 1929.
