Oswald in the doorway: the blog of the Oswald Innocence Campaign, by Ralph Cinque

Joseph Backes had a long rant tonight, but it was so vacuous and stupid, I'm not going to waste my time responding to it. However, I do want to show you what he has at the top of his blog.

Joseph Backes professes to believe in Oswald innocence. So, why is he trying to destroy the Oswald Innocence Campaign? Even if he thinks we are going about promoting Oswald innocence the wrong way, wouldn't he start by trying to destroy the ones who are advocating Oswald guilt? And then after all them are destroyed, maybe take action against those whom he thinks are pushing Oswald innocence incorrectly? Joseph Backes, a professed advocate of Oswald innocence, has no blogs dedicated to the destruction of John McAdams or Vincent Bugliosi or David Von Pein or SV Anderson or Hank Sienzant or bpete or any other advocate of Oswald guilt. 

And what makes it really weird is that he's not even averse to Oswald in the doorway.  He calls the Oswald-as-Prayer-Man advocates "honest researchers" and implies that they may be right. 

Granted, it's not a ringing endorsement, but it is respectful. It shows an open mind to it. And it shows a complete absence of hostility to the idea and to those advocating it. 

So, Backes has no problem- in principle- with Oswald in the doorway; he just goes ballistic if you try to say he was Doorman. 

But, if you think about logically, since he's not positive that Prayer Man was Oswald, then why couldn't Doorman be Oswald?

No? Why not? Is it because of the testimonies? But, I have pointed to the contrast in the way Joseph Ball handled Arce and Lovelady on the very same afternoon with polar opposite approaches which screams of dirt and corruption. And what about the witnesses they didn't ask? What about Dan Molina? What about Sarah Stanton? What about others who were in the doorway or near the doorway? 

Is it because of something Oswald said? Well, anything Oswald said that is used to discredit him as Doorman would also discredit him as Prayer Man. 

Is it because of the image comparisons? Well, it can't be that. Who's the odd man out?

For goodness sake, Lovelady's shirt wasn't even sprawled open. So, he could not have been Doorman, therefore, Oswald had to be. 

It's one thing for a lone-nutter or even an HSCA CT to get rankled by Oswald as Doorman. But, Backes claims to be an Oswald innocent CT, and he has shown his openness to Oswald being in the doorway- as somebody. Therefore, his vile, disgusting, bile-spewing, fire-breathing hatred and intolerance for the idea of Oswald as the Doorway Man is nothing less than insane.
